Above the roofs of Westerland on the fifth floor is this 2-bedroom holiday apartment, just a 2 minute walk away from the centre of Westerland.
Outdoor area
The spacious breakfast balcony is east-facing with views (on a clear day) out to the Kampen Lighthouse and the Rantum Basin.
Special feature
There is an elevator in the building. Every floor has a garbage disposal unit. Washing machines and dryers are available to you in the laundry (for a fee).
The apartment also has a f r e e o f c h a r g e parking space (no. 1).
Rooms and equipment
The apartment was furnished as recently as October 2011.
The fully equipped kitchen contains a ***refrigerator, a 4-hob stove with oven.
There is a hairdryer for you in the shower-bathroom (with window).
There are flat-screen TVs in both the living room and the bedroom, in the bedroom there is also a DVD-player. The rooms are carpeted. In the living room there is also a sofa bed available.
General information
A linen package (for a fee) contains – 1 set of bed linens, a beach towel, 2 towels, 2 guest towels, a bath mat and 2 tea towels.
Upon advance request beds can be made before arrival.
Linen packages cost €18.00 (incl. 19% VAT) each.
Visitor’s tax is to be paid to the administrator – in Sylt – during key handover.
Location description
A very good location in the centre of town, above the roofs of Westerland on the 5th floor.
The old “kursaal” and the town hall are located directly next to Haus Ankerlicht. On Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a farmers market in front of Haus Ankerlicht.
Popular shopping streets are about a 2 minute walk away from Haus Ankerlicht. The train station is also in the direct vicinity.
You can get to Westerländer Beach with resort centre and a wave pool in about 5 minutes on foot.
Shopping facilities and bakers are directly opposite the building.

Es hat uns top gefallen. Wir waren bereits das 2. Mal in diesem modern eingerichteten Appartment. Alles ist optimal auf die Größe der Wohnung zurecht geschnitten, sprich der Platz ist super ausgenutzt und für 2 Personen perfekt.
Schönes Highlight ist das Badezimmer mit Fenster und großem, ebenerdigen Duschbereich.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet die notwendige Ausstattung für einen längeren Aufenthalt (2 Kaffeemaschinen, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine im Keller etc.).
Bei der Ankunft war die Wohnung oberflächlich gereinigt, allerdings mussten wir im Laufe der Zeit feststellen, dass z. B. in den Pfannen noch Essensreste von den Vormietern zu "finden" waren.
Das Appartment liegt recht zentral, der direkte Weg zum Strand war keinen Kilometer lang. Allerdings liegt das Haus an einer sehr stark frequentierten Strasse, so dass man selbst nachts nicht die Fenster offen stehen lassen kann (was bei gutem Wetter auf Grund der Sonneneinstrahlung zur Abkühlung notwendig wäre) ... erholsamer Schlaf kehrte daher nicht ein.
Trotz der guten Ausstattung können wir auf Grund der Lautstärke nur 3 von 5 Punkten geben.

Zentral gelegende Unterkunft. Von hier aus können viele Fahrradtouren gestartet werden. Wohnung modern und gut eingerichtet. Zentrumsnah zur Fußgängerzone.
Liegt allerdings an einer lebhaften Straße.
Fahrradraum ist etwas zu klein. Fahrräder konnten hinter dem Haus geschützt abgestellt werden.
Küche und Küchenschränke hätten etwas sauberer sein können.

Das Dünennest ist eine saubere und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen, Morgensonne inclusive. Über die Dächer von Westerland konnten wir sehr weit schauen - sogar bis zum Meer.

Als Paar mit Hund super Zentral gelegen.
Alles sauber und mit Liebe eingerichtet.
Farben sehr Stimmig ausgewählt.
Sehr modern und auch an Kleinigkeiten wurde gedacht...(z.B. Geburtstagskerzen, aktuelle Bücher, Spiele Sammlungen...)
Besonders gut hat mir gefallen, das man sich wirklich Mühe gegeben hat in einer kleinen Wohnung viel Platz zu schaffen...Der Spiegelschrank im Bad ist ein Traum...Genauso wie der Kleiderschrank mit Innenlicht ausgestattet ist...
Auch die schöne Küchenrückwand in ruhigen Farben gehalten mit Strand Hintergrund ist sehr passend.

Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt, in dieser schönen Wohnung. Die Lage ist top. Bäcker im Haus, Edeka gegen über und wenige Schritte zum Strand. Das Wetter war nicht so toll aber auf dem Balkon konnte man trotzdem sitzen. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und die Verwaltung vor Ort sehr hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und sehr gut ausgestattet so dass die Ferien gleich beginnen können.

Eine richtig schnuckelige kleine Wohnung, die alles bietet was sich ein Urlaubspaar so wünscht. Zu unserer Reisezeit war es richtig kalt, und wir konnten uns bei unserer Rückkehr immer über eine richtig kuschelig warme Wohnung freuen.
Absolut zentral gelegen, so dass man wirklich kein Auto braucht. Wir hatten eins dabei und waren erfreut über den zur Wohnung gehörenden Parkplatz.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, kommen bestimmt wieder und können dieses Feriendomizil absolut weiterempfehlen.

Properties with Enquiry Booking: To book an accommodation please contact the landlord by phone or via the contact form on the property listing. It is impossible to book such properties directly online on our website.
Properties with Online Booking: To book an accommodation directly and bindingly online, please enter your travel period, the number of guests and calculate the valid price. Afterwards, please complete the booking form in three easy steps. Alternatively, you can also use our telephone booking service.
Basically, the accommodation has to be vacant in your requested travel period. Furthermore, the conditions, such as max. number of guests, the minimum stay, the valid arrival and departure days have to be observed.
Please note: The rental contract is always concluded between the tenant and the landlord. Travanto is just the intermediary.

In general it is impossible to exceed the maximum number of guests. Not even if you organise more sleeping facilities by yourself. Children, regardless of age, are considered as a guest. The indicated rental price is only valid for the maximum possible number of guests.
Some properties offer special rates for children. You can recognize those accommodations, if you are asked about the amount and the age of the travelling children in the price calculation. If this is not the case, the stated prices apply to all guests (regardless of age).

Whether you can bring your pets or not, please read the information in the "Features" section on this page. In general, the term "Pets not allowed" means that it is not permitted to bring any kind of pets at all.

Deviations from this regulation can be discussed individually. If your arrival/departure has to be very early/late, we will gladly clarify this with the landlord, if the accommodation is only bookable online. There may be various reasons for this:
Your travel period undercuts the given minimum stay.
Your desired date of arrival/departure is impossible according to the landlord's settings.
A gap in the calendar is impossible to rent, if it undercuts the minimum stay, e.g. A gap of three nights is not bookable, if the given minimum stay is five nights.
You cannot book an accommodation, if your desired travel period causes a gap which is lower than the minimum stay.
Your requested arrival date is too short-term.
Since some of our accommodations are from cooperation partners, it is possible that the given data may not be up-to-date. In this case your desired travel period may be no longer available in the price calculation.
In this case your desired travel period is not bookable. You can extend your stay, if this is an option for you or you search for another accommodation with an appropriate minimum stay.
